Animal Healing takes place in the animal's home environment, thus allowing greater effect by not causing the animal the stress of travelling to see me. A healing session can last around an hour to an hour and a half including the consultation.   Animal Healing ~ The healing I will give to your animal is either psychic, spiritual or Reiki Healing. You, as the pet's guardian, do not have to belive in any particular spiritual path for the healing to be chanelled. All that is required from you is a willingness for the animal to receive the healing energy. Healing is a natural therapy, promoting calm, peace, and deep relaxation . How healing is done ~ When giving an animal healing treatment in person, I generally begin the treatment at a short distance from an animal, rather than with my hands directly on him, to give him a chance to experience the energy and evaluate it in his own way and in his own time. Animals are more sensitive to energy than people and quickly understand what healing is and its healing potential. During a treatment animals may come close to my hands and move away several times and often end up lying close by or under my hands, showing me which areas are most in need of healing. Healing can also be experienced as a sensation of mild heat, vibration, or pulsing, especially when a treatment is given with the my hands directly on the animal. I also use one of my dowsing pendulums to give me more of an insight into your animal. Crystals will also be used during the healing session ~ see picture below. Below: The points where the healing energy enters the animal's body ~ 'The Chakra Points' Results ~ The results of a treatment are usually noticed soon after a treatment or over the following several days to a week. It may become clear that a physical injury or illness has healed more rapidly than expected or that an emotional or behavioral challenge has shifted or released. Deeper or longer-standing challenges may take several treatments to begin to shift and regular treatments for a period of time to facilitate the process of working through and letting go of the issues that need healing. Specific problems ~ As an Animal Healer the healing energy locates the problems that are most in need of healing. These problems may not be what is expected. Physical issues can have emotional root causes, and, when it is in the best interest of the animal, Holistic Healing can help your animal to resolve and release these matters and return to more stable emotional and physical health. They all deserve our love ~ Every living creature on this planet is a part of the energy of this universe, and through healing we can all benefit from the precious qualities of this universal energy. Animals past and present have been my greater mentors and teachers, and I extend my love and thanks to you all. The Veterinary Surgery Act of 1966 prohibits anyone other than a qualified veterinary surgeon from treating animals, including diagnosis of ailments and giving of advice on such diagnosis. However the healing of animals by contact healing, by the laying on of hands or distant healing is legal. However the Protection of Animals Act 1911 requires that if an animal clearly needs treatment from a veterinary surgeon the owner must obtain this. To give emergency First Aid to animals for the purpose of saving life or relieving pain is permissible under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 Schedule 3.  Please Note: I will not treat an animal for any illness that has not been properly diagnosed by your Veterinary Practitioner. Holsitic Healing is not a substitue for veterinary treatment, it can be used alongside orthodox treatment.
