Niki ~ UK Animal Healer IIHHTDip VTCT  MICHT IIHHT BABTAC & Reiki Master Niki & Friend:   Over my 20 years as an Animal Healer and working with a variety of animals people are always asking me about the work I do and are interested to hear about the animals that I work with, so here are a few of case 'snippets' about my work with animals I have worked with so far this year.   When I began to heal animals over 20 years ago, I never imagined working with such wonderful and varied creatures including  llamas, lizards and ducks! My healing work recently has taken me to Somerset & to treat Bullie ~ the horse, Devon to treat Charlotte ~ the hen & Chesterfield for Jeremy ~ the Cocker Spaniel. Bullie ~ The Horse I was off to Somerset March 2007 to treat a variety of animals. One of the horses I gave healing to was Bullie ~ he certainly lived upto his name! Bullie had been purchased In January 2007 by his owner Sally and she knew little of his background except the previous owner had little time to give his the proper care, attention and love that horses require. He’d lived with sally for the past 3 months but she had come to notice his aggressive behaviour towards the 3 other horses that shared the paddock. He’d trap them in corners, it seemed, every time sally was around. He’d pace about, snort and chase the 3 other horses, which were becoming increasingly frightened and timid around him. I made contact with Bullie and began dowsing his energy field to give me an insight that may be the cause of his problem. His heart energy centre was very low, the energy was dull and sad. I began to feel a pounding in my chest area and also very emotional, a feeling of abandonment came over me. I knew that Bullie had suffered neglect in the past and felt he had to fight for affection from Sally as he’d never experienced true love with his previous owner. Over the following 5 days Bullie received 4 healing sessions and the progression was amazing. I didn't use any crystals on Bullie as I treated him in his paddock. It was truly wonderful to see Bullie with his 3 paddock chums actually making friends and running to and fro with them. It was very emotional indeed. Sally telephoned me to say Bullie is now a different horse and even has a girlfriend ~ Delilah!   Charlotte The Hen Charlotte the chicken was a rescue chicken from a battery hen farm. Tom had taken her in along with 3 other hens. He became aware that she had a limp. I’ve given healing to ducks, geese and other birds but never a chicken. Charlotte was keen to see what I had in my special crystal pouch and took a particular shine to a piece of Hematite. Hematite aids the circulatory system to repair torn ligaments or muscular strain. I used this crystal and upon placing my hands over the mesh cage she immediately slumped to the ground on her side. I admit this gave me quite a fright as I wondered if the energy was too much but she blinked her eyes and then began to ruffle her feathers and relax, revelling in the healing energy. The day following she still had a slight limp, but a week later and I’ve been informed she’s now chasing Ted the Turkey around the yard ~ limp free!   Jeremy The Cocker Spaniel Upon receiving a telephone call from a Lady in Chesterfield about Jeremy I knew his little dog needed help. Sue had taken the dog after seeing him roaming and living rough around the streets where she lived. It had taken her 2 weeks to coax poor Jeremy into the warmth of her house. She promptly had him seen by the vet who diagnosed slight malnutrition and gave Jeremy a course of tablets. It was when Sue went to cuddle the dog that she noticed a problem ~ she couldn't get near him. He was so nervous. She immediately called me as I had treated her friend's 3 cats some time ago. Dispite Sue being a sceptic regarding healing she felt she had nothing to loose and would give it a go for Jeremy's sake. Poor Jeremy was so shy and timid that he just wouldn't come out from under her desk to see me. But after half an hour the crystals in my 'magic bag' had proved to be too much of a temptation and out he came offering me his paw! I hadn't actually given him any hands on healing at this point, I'd just directed a positive energy flow where he lay under the desk from afar. I chose my crystals carefully and worked with Aquamarine to dispell deep seated fear and Carnelian which is the self esteem stone. It took just 20 minutes before Jeremy was wandering around the room awaiting his dinner! I wanted to see how Jeremy behaved after he'd eaten so I stayed with Sue to watch. After his dinner he jumped onto the sofa and snuggled up next to Sue. It was a wonderful sight that brought tears to our eyes.
