I was drawn to healing when I was around 8 years old. Being an only child, my parents rescued a scrawny stray black cat which I named Timmy. They thought he could keep me company, they were right and we shared a wonderful 10 years together. We didn't know how old he was but when we'd had him for around 6 years he developed a renal problem. I sat with Timmy in his basket and placed my hands upon him visualising pure healing energy cleansing his system and removing the blockage. Timmy lived for another 5 years and passed to spirit of old age. After Timmy, my parent's decided to rescue a Rotweiller who had been used for breeding as her owners were disrergarding her when she had become too old to produce any more pups. Inka was the most loving and truly wonderful dog any of us had encountered, she just wanted to be loved.  She had several health concerns including a heart condition but this didn't deter her spirit. My Parent's were told she wouldn't be expected to live after about 7 years of age but she was 12 when she passed to spirit. I remember placing my hands around her heart area and feeling the most amazing sensations. I knew she was accepting my healing energy. Inka was a true angel, one I'll never forget. After suffering my own health set backs in my late teens and then experiencing a mild stroke at the age of 23 caused by the stress of being at college and working for the social services, I decided to turn around my life. I was working and studying which left me little spare time to relax and actually enjoy life. I decided not to accept any long term medication, much to the annoyance of everyone around me and embarked upon my own personal journey of Holistic Healing and Complementary Therapies. I have never looked back. I am a Druid and I'm able to communicate with animals at soul level. Through intuition and various methods, including Reiki, crystals and dowsing, I am able to 'tune in' to animals. They can then give me the information required in order for healing to take place. I am Reiki Practitioner, I have been qualified and insured to practice at Master level for the past 8 years. Below: Meesha, Figgy & Niki     For the last 12 years I have been treating a wide variety or human and animal clients with such a broad spectrum of health problems and difficulties. I adore my work and I adore animals. We have 2 darling cats who are both rescues. We drove the 300 mile round trip in March 2006 to collect them from www.catsatriversideshelter.co.uk . We wouldn't be without Tessie and Jemima. They are aged 8 and 9 and needed a special, quiet home. They give us so much love and happiness and have helped to fill a void in our hearts that our darling Tansie left when she passed to spirit aged 15. I am a lifetime member supporter of The Cats Protection and also support many other animal rescue centres and animal welfare charities. So, there you have it ~ my journey of healing.
