We see all the different names. There is a day spa, medical day spa, spas at resorts and the hotel spa. So, what is the difference between all of these spas? Does it really matter which one you go to? Is one type of spa able to do a better job than the other? It can be confusing if you do not know the difference and do not be fooled, they are not all the same.

A medical day spa if very different from a regular spa or the type of place you would visit while on vacation or at a resort. A medical day spa has a licensed physician on staff at all times.
